No dog should be left behind this Christmas

Lola Lou was found alone in an empty flat, abandoned with little food, no water and no one to comfort her. For days, she waited by the door, hoping her owner would return. But no one came. Can you imagine how she must have felt, curling up to try and keep warm each night, in total darkness, alone.

This Christmas, too many dogs will face the same heartbreak. Left frightened, confused and desperately longing for the warmth of a safe and loving home.

Lola Lou is just 1 of around 100 abandoned dogs we take in over Christmas. No dog should be alone or out on the streets at what should be the happiest time of year.
