Join our fight against puppy smuggling
When Daisy was smuggled into the UK, she was heavily pregnant, exhausted and terrified. Just days away from giving birth, her life and the lives of her unborn puppies, were in serious danger.
Every year, hundreds of dogs are smuggled into the UK and forced to endure shocking cruelty. Cramped into tiny, filthy spaces with no food, no water and no care, they are left to suffer. Daisy was one of them. Heavily pregnant and facing this nightmare alone.
But thanks to your support, our Puppy Pilot scheme was there to rescue Daisy at the border.

With urgent vet care and a safe place to rest, she soon gave birth to four healthy puppies.
But for every Daisy we reach in time, so many more are left behind. Heavily pregnant mums transported in dangerous conditions. Puppies torn from their mothers at just weeks old. Dogs treated as nothing more than a way to make money.
You can help put a stop to this cruelty.
Since 2015, our Puppy Pilot scheme has rescued over 3,200 puppies and over 173 pregnant dogs. Your gift today could help save the next frightened puppy or vulnerable dog at the border, and give them the chance to escape a life of suffering and find safety, love and care.
You could help protect dogs like Daisy and her puppies from the dangers of puppy smuggling by donating £25 today.

Thanks to our loyal supporters, a new Bill to crack down on puppy smuggling is now in the final stages of becoming law. But the fight is far from over as the cruelty continues. More dogs like Daisy need you.
£10 could help puppies settle into their new, safe environment, with soft bedding and toys that bring them comfort.
£25 could help provide a rescued puppy with nourishing meals in their crucial first week of recovery.
£50 could help keep our specialist puppy units warm with heat lamps that protect fragile newborns around the clock.
£100 could support urgent veterinary care for heavily pregnant dogs like Daisy, who are rescued just in time.
Your donation could be a life-saving one. Together, we can help rescue more pregnant dogs like Daisy from this illegal trade.
Donations will go towards all areas of Dogs Trust's work and help care for dogs wherever the need is greatest.
