These precious girls, Layla the Golden Retriever and Delilah the Dachshund, were rescued from the same puppy farm where they spent a lifetime in appalling conditions being forced to breed repeatedly for profit. Once in our care their road to recovery wasn’t going to be an easy one.

Your support provides dogs like them all the time, patience and kindness they desperately need to feel whole, however long that takes.

But right now, unethical, illegal and unscrupulous breeders have begun the cycle to meet the Christmas puppy demand. If we can’t offer somewhere for rescued overbred dog mums to go, then they continue to be at risk.
