Left behind this winter, in need of a happy place.
Your support could once again help create safety for dogs like Pudding.
Every year, over the Christmas period and beyond, stray and abandoned dogs arrive in our care after being left frightened and alone. And winter is when the risk is greatest. In desperate need of immediate safety, gentle care and somewhere they can begin to feel secure again.
Right now, dogs like Pudding are relying on the kindness of supporters to step in and give them the safety they cannot find on their own.

Pudding was found wandering alone in cold weather and taken to a local stray pound. With no one coming forward to claim her, her future was uncertain. Dogs in pounds face limited options, and without intervention, Pudding could have lost her chance of safety and care altogether.
Thanks to the generosity of supporters, we were able to step in and bring Pudding to safety via our Dog Ambulance service.
After Pudding’s ordeal, she needed warmth, reassurance and time to recover from being abandoned. We found her a loving foster home, and for the first time she could finally rest and begin to feel safe. Gentle routines, a warm place to sleep and patient handling helped her start to trust again after everything she had been through.
Dogs like Pudding rely on donations to give them a second chance, and your gift could make that possible today.
Thanks to the compassion of supporters, Lola Lou, who was left alone in an abandoned flat for days, has finally found her forever home after waiting for 475 days in our care. Lola Lou was able to spend Christmas safe and loved, and most importantly filled with her favourite belly rubs.

Not every dog finds their happy place straight away. Many still need care, comfort and safety while they wait, whether that’s in our rehoming centres or loving foster homes.
Lola Lou’s story shows what is possible. But right now, dogs like Pudding are still waiting. Your gift today could be the reason another dog finds safety instead of being left behind.
Thank you.
Donations will go towards all areas of Dogs Trust's work and help care for dogs wherever the need is greatest.
