Alfie needed urgent treatment to survive.

Thousands of dogs are arriving in our care with serious medical conditions. You can be the lifeline they desperately need.

Dogs like Alfie arrive in our care every day. Some needing emergency treatment, others requiring daily medication or ongoing support for chronic conditions. But with veterinary costs rising fast, we’re facing more pressure than ever before.

Your past support changed a dog’s life. Please, could you give a gift of £5 to help save another today?

Alfie was diagnosed with diabetes and his life depended on two insulin injections a day. But he was terrified of needles. Administering his treatment became a daily struggle. Without this life-saving medication, he could have lost his sight or worse.

Thanks to dedicated veterinary care, behavioural support and a loving foster carer, Alfie received the help he needed. But there are still so many more dogs waiting.

In just one year, our average vet cost per dog rose by over 13%. In 2024, we treated more than 10,000 dogs, at a total cost of £5.4 million. At the same time, more dogs are arriving with serious medical needs because their owners simply can’t afford to treat them.

Your gift of £5 today could help fund life-saving treatment for dogs like Alfie.

Pingu

Pingu lives with epilepsy and needs daily medication to stay safe.

Maurice

Maurice requires ongoing treatment for painful eye conditions.

Dolly

Dolly is still recovering from surgery that saved her from lasting leg damage.

These dogs are still with us because their needs are too complex for many to take on alone. But your generosity could help give them, and dogs like them, the future they deserve.

Please will you be their lifeline today?

Thank you.

Donations will go towards all areas of Dogs Trust's work and help care for dogs where the need is greatest.
