Colt has come in to us with very little history so he may need all his basic training when he goes to his new home and this will include housetraining.
Type of home needed
Colt is a sweet lad who can be a little bit worried when meeting new people. He will need a quiet home with new owners who will give him plenty of time to get used to his new environment. Colt is far more confident when his kennel mate is around so it may benefit him to go to a home with a pre-existing confident dog to help settle him in. Unfortunately he cannot live with cats. He could live with older sensible teenagers of 14 years or over as long as they give him time on his own when he needs it. Colt will need a home with his own secure garden. Any time left alone will need to be built up gradually leaving him with lots to keep him occupied.
