Barney is an absolutely beautiful boy, despite recently celebrating his 9th birthday he's still true to his spaniel ways and has plenty of spirit! Top of Barney's favourite list is definitely his toys closely followed by treats and showing off his trick skills. He's lived in a home, he's mastered his basic training and can be left for short periods.
Type of home needed
Barney finds meeting new people very anxiety inducing, too much going on can often get the better of him so he needs a patient family who can spot when he's starting to worry. He needs further help when it comes to car travel and visits to the very scary vets! Barney will be a project dog, and we will only consider a family who can demonstrate they understand his behaviour, and how to manage it in a positive and progressive way
More about me
Barney can have doggy walking friends, but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He'll need an adult only home and his new family may need to visit the centre several times to bond with him first. Barney will need to be kept on lead around livestock.
