Rosie is a pretty, dainty little collie who is looking for a family that can give her a quiet and steady life. She is struggling to settle in kennels, as it is such a busy and unpredictable environment. She does have a very playful side, and gets very excited when it comes to toys. She loves to chase after them but hasn't quite mastered the retrieve! She responds very well to lots of silly talk, but likes to approach you rather than have you come to her.
Type of home needed
Rosie would probably do well with another dog in the home as she looks to her pal Jemima for confidence. If Jem is OK with you, then Rosie is OK with you! A quiet pal would be ideal, as a livelier one may be too over-stimulating for her. Rosie can live with children aged 14 and over, but they will need to be understanding of her nervousness, and the need for a slow approach. We don't think Rosie is housetrained, so there's some work to be done with her yet.
