Ford the two-year-old Lurcher loves meeting people and having a fuss. He is really enjoying exploring and zooming around the field at the centre. He is quite vocal when he meets other dogs and so can be a bit too much for some but does have canine friends at the centre. He enjoys his food and treats which will help with his training. He will chase his toys, but we are still working on getting him to fetch them back! He especially loves his teddies. Ford is a very affectionate boy and loves cuddles and attention.
Type of home needed
Ford is looking for an active home with patient owners that will help him with his ongoing training. He needs to be the only dog in the home as he likes all the attention to himself. He can live with children aged 14 years and over but not cats or small furries. Once settled Ford can potentially be left for a few hours but this would need to be increased slowly. If you are interested in rehoming Ford, please contact the Canterbury Rehoming Centre.
