Marvin is a 1.5 year old Staffordshire bull terrier cross who is looking for a patient and understanding home that will help him learn that the world isn't such a scary place. He will require adopters to make multiple visits to build a bone with him; however, once he has a bond with you he is a gentle, loving boy. Marvin loves to play with soft, squeaky toys and this is a great way of making friends with him. He will need to be the only dog in the home; however, he would benefit from having social doggy friends out on a walk.

Type of home needed

Marvin is looking for a quiet adult only home with ideally experience and knowledge of the breed. He will need owners who are around for majority of the day to help him settle in along with reminding him on house training. He is unable to live with cats. Marvin will make a rewarding companion given the time and patience he needs. Anyone who meets him is sure to fall in love with him.

Thank you for your interest in rehoming a dog from our Bridgend Rehoming Centre in Wales.

The first step to rehoming from us is to complete our online application form. We’ll review your application and if we think you could be a good match for the dog, we’ll give you a call to chat in more detail.

When reviewing applications, we're looking at how closely your lifestyle matches the needs of the dog. If we have lots of strong matches, then we'll start with the family that applied first.

We may arrange a virtual home check to find out more about you, your lifestyle, and the home you can offer. We may also make an appointment for you to come and meet a dog at the centre.

We aim to respond to all rehoming applications within five working days. If you have not heard from us within five working days, unfortunately you have been unsuccessful this time.
