Puppy 'Charlie Bucket' hopes for golden ticket to a forever home this Roald Dahl Day
A 13-week-old puppy arrived at Dogs Trust Snetterton this week in time for Roald Dahl Day (Thursday 13th September), and has been named Charlie Bucket. The Standard XOLO pup has his paws crossed that he’ll find a golden ticket, just like his namesake – but all he desires is his special someone.
Rehoming Centre Manager Diane McLelland-Taylor said:
“Gorgeous Charlie Bucket came to us through no fault of his own. He’s such a tender age but already we can see that he’ll excel with his training with the help of a 'scrumdiddlyumptious' treat or two! This lovely lad will make a 'splendiferous' companion to his new owners.”
Charlie Bucket can often be found 'frothbuggling' with his toys and loves playing the clown, he’ll make you 'churgle' with laughter. Staff at the rehoming centre will be 'biffsquiggled' if he doesn’t find the perfect new home very soon!
Charlie will need adopters who understand that he still has a lot of growing to do and will blossom into a large dog. As he is still only a puppy he also needs human company and would need a household that wouldn’t leave him alone for more than an hour or more per day to begin with. Charlie Bucket loves to play and would like to house share with a jolly canine companion.
If you think you are the ideal 'human bean' and have a 'fantabulous' home for Charlie Bucket please call the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292
