Tails wagging after a record-breaking festive fair

Staff and dogs at Dogs Trust Salisbury are feeling woof-tastic as they celebrate a record-breaking year at their annual festive fair, with a grand total of £4,418 raised.

The fair was a huge success with Santa Paws on hand to pose for festive photographs with two-legged and four-legged visitors, a raffle, tombola, gift and craft stalls selling perfect Christmas presents and stocking fillers, plus delicious festive refreshments.

Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Salisbury, Lucy Hooper, said: “More than 750 people and 170 dogs came along and we are absolutely amazed by how much has been raised. We knew last year was hard to beat but we did it! Everyone had a fabulous time and we raised £400 more than we did at last year’s Christmas fair.

“Everything we do is focused on giving our dogs the best care possible whilst they are with us, and finding them their forever homes. Without the support of the dog-loving public throughout the year, we wouldn’t be able to do this so we would like to say a huge thank you to all those who helped make the event such a big success, and wish everyone, and their four-legged friends, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!.”
