'Paw'some tours and tales of dogs hoping to sniff out new homes

Dogs Trust Merseyside is offering dog-lovers the chance to find out just what it takes to look after hundreds of dogs in need of new homes.

The team at the Huyton-based rehoming centre are offering free tours to community groups - and the chance to meet some of the four-legged residents - or the opportunity for groups to have a team member chat to them about all things canine at their own venue.

Dogs Trust Merseyside Supporter Relations Officer (SRO), Aimee Best, says:

“I want to get out and about to meet as many local dog lovers as possible, or welcome them to the rehoming centre!

“We look after dogs every day of the year and giving groups a tour of the rehoming centre provides a fantastic insight into what it takes to look after so many dogs, and of course there’s always the added bonus of meeting some of our current dogs waiting for their forever homes.

“But if a visit to Dogs Trust Merseyside isn’t possible, I can pop along to their venue and they can always visit us another time when they might meet their canine companion.”

If you would like to book a talk or tour for your community group please call Aimee on 0151 949 5518 or email her at [email protected].
