Dogs Trust celebrate the tenth anniversary of Liverpool being awarded the capital of culture
Staff at Dogs Trust Merseyside have named ten adorable Belgian shepherd cross puppies, in honour of the city they were born in, to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Liverpool being named as the capital of culture. The pups, an unwanted litter, were passed to Dogs Trust by their owner, who was unable to care for them, to find happy new homes. The puppies, all looking for loving new families have been named: Albert, Crosby, Dingle, Norris, Tocky, Page, Adelphi, Kirkby and Derby after the city’s famous districts.
Vicky Lester, Rehoming Centre Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Merseyside, said:
“These sweet natured, fun-loving puppies are only six weeks old and are full of energy so will need active, patient owners to keep them entertained, continue their training and ideally be at home most of the day to help them settle in. They are super little pups who will make wonderful pets in the right homes for a lucky owner. They are proud Liverpudlians looking for local homes. The pups can be reserved ready to go home when they reach eight weeks”
If you can offer any of the pups the happy homes they deserve please call the rehoming centre on 0300 303 0292.
