Homeless Royal Hound (HRH) celebrates royal baby news – and hoping for a palace of his own

Following the Royal baby announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Dogs Trust Ilfracombe are playing host to their very own regal resident – two-year-old Pomeranian cross Windsor.

Windsor found himself under the care of the rehoming centre after being found wandering the streets as a stray. He is now looking for a lord or lady in waiting who can give him a Royal Welcome into a new home.

Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre Manager, Elise Watson said:

“Windsor is a real cutie and has already stolen the hearts of all of the staff. His arrival has certainly stolen the limelight here in the rehoming centre and we’re all hoping that Windsor will find his very own palace to live in where he’ll be treated like royalty.

“He’s settling into kennel life, and we’re sure he’ll have a loyal fan base waiting to offer him a wonderful forever home.”

The rehoming centre is also playing host to other homeless hounds who have been named after Royal Palaces to celebrate the Royal baby news - Kensington a five-year old Husky, and one-year-old Collies Balmoral and Buckingham.
