Dogs Trust Dogmobile gears up for a tail wagging visit to Kent County Show

On Friday 6th July through to Sunday 8th July we will be raising pounds for hounds at a doggie meet and greet at Kent County Show in Detling, Maidstone, in Kent.

Our Dogmobile will be at the show 8am-6pm each day, giving supporters and doting dog lovers the chance to find out more about the our work, and meet one our four legged friends.

The Dogmobile will be carrying a pooch from Dogs Trust Canterbury, who is looking for their ideal home. This charismatic canine will be there to greet members of the public with plenty of licks, in return for a scratch behind the ears or a tasty treat.

Dogmobile Assistant Manager, Laura Nicholas, explains:

“The Dogmobile is a fun, interactive way to help people find out more about rehoming a rescue dog and the brilliant work of Dogs Trust. Whilst dogs are not directly rehomed from the Dogmobile, if you do find that it’s puppy love after meeting our adorable doggies, we encourage you to visit our centre to find out more about making a new best friend.

"You’ll also be able to find out about how you can foster a dog whilst they’re waiting to find their forever home, the charity’s fantastic ‘Sponsor a Dog’ scheme and how you can make a difference by volunteering at the Dogs Trust Canterbury centre.”
