In the spotlight at Canterbury - Sleepy!

Ex-racing Greyhound looking for a calm and peaceful retirement home

Sleepy the Greyhound at Dogs Trust Canterbury

Our lovely Sleepy is still looking for his special someone!

Sleepy has been with us for six months and hasn’t had much interest; he would really love to find his forever home soon.

Sleepy is a gentle and sensitive soul who has retired from racing and would like nothing more than a home to call his own. He is a laid-back lad who likes to relax after his walks on a comfy duvet and will play with his toys once he's gained confidence. Sleepy has had a tough start and takes time to get to know new people. He loves his food so this will help with future training.

Sleepy is looking for a calm home with adults only that have the time and patience to build his confidence. He will need to build a relationship with his new owners before he goes home, so multiple meets at the centre may be required. Sleepy enjoys meeting dogs of a similar size on his walks but would prefer to be the only dog in the home. He can potentially be left a few hours once he is used to this.

Please contact the Canterbury Rehoming Centre for more information about Sleepy.
