Join us at DogFest 2022

A fun-filled dog-friendly festival!

We are really excited to be the charity partner again for DogFest, a series of tail-wagging weekend events, dedicated to dogs and their owners.

This year, DogFest is hoping to be bigger and better than ever, with seven weekend events taking place across the country – making it the perfect opportunity for us to meet you (and your dogs of course!) and to highlight the different aspects of our work.

  • 7 and 8 May – Loseley Park, Surrey
  • 28 and 29 May – Ragley Hall, Alcester
  • 18 and 19 June – Tatton Park, Cheshire
  • 25 and 26 June – Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire
  • 10 and 11 September – Knebworth House, Hertfordshire
  • 24 and 25 September – Harewood House, Yorkshire
  • 26 and 27 November – TBC

Want to know more about us at DogFest?

At each venue, we will have our very own Dogs Trust Village, where you can find out about some of our dogs currently looking for homes. We will also catch up with dogs who are now in their ‘furever’ homes. So, if you have a former Dogs Trust dog, please join us for our reunion parades, as we do love to see how happy and well our dogs are now. Plus, there will also be various other fun activities to keep you and your canine companion entertained in the Dogs Trust Village – just head for the yellow!

If you and your dog would like to further stretch your legs at DogFest, you can also take part in The Big Dog Walk, which is run by Dogs Trust at each of the events. You can take part in different length walks – there are even walks specifically for younger puppies to enjoy. Plus, there may be a few activities to get involved in along the routes as well. So, for a suggested minimum £2 donation, please come and join us for a walkies with a difference!

NEW FOR THIS YEAR! We will also be running

Dogs Trust Dog School, which will be a zone dedicated to all things puppy and dog training. The Dog School team will be holding interactive training activities and giving some demonstrations and top tips for you to take home.

So, if you have a new doggy member of the family and would like to get to know your pooch better and take part in some taster training sessions, please head over on the day of your DogFest visit to sign up!
