We are passionate about changing the way people think about dogs for the better, and we believe that educating young people about the responsibilities, as well as the joys, of looking after dogs is key in the fight against dog abandonment.
Our Education Officer is running a FREE Education Programme for Primary school children in Dublin. Here, we will concentrate on educating the dog owners of tomorrow through our extensive materials and free interactive workshops.
Our workshops are based around the theme of dog ownership and specifically encourage young people to debate and discuss the social problems arising from irresponsible dog ownership. The workshops are linked to the Irish Curriculum and are run by a qualified teacher.
