Dogs Trust Ireland

At Dogs Trust we are all passionate about ensuring a safe and bright future for our four-legged friends!

Dogs Trust is an international charity dedicated to campaigning on dog-welfare related issues - working towards the day when all dogs can enjoy a happy life, free from the threat of unnecessary destruction.

As a registered charity with head offices in the UK and Ireland, Dogs Trust are committed to helping dogs in need both at home and abroad by working with animal welfare organisations and societies throughout Europe.

Unfortunately, numbers of stray dogs and dog destructions are very high in Ireland, so Dogs Trust are focussing on the education of young people and promoting neutering in order to tackle these issues. We also provide assistance to other Irish charities to neuter dogs prior to adoption and transfer dogs that are at risk of destruction to Dogs Trust centres in the UK. In the longer term, we are planning to open a Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre in Ireland to further our work and achieve more for dogs in Ireland.

We are confident that all these initiatives will have a major impact on the stray dog problem in Ireland.

If you are a vet or a member of the public and would like to know more about Dogs Trust Subsidised Neutering Scheme please call our hotline on 1890 946 336.
