Dogs Trust > Ways We Help > Campaigns > Ending the Stray Dog Problem > Who we work with >
In order to achieve our aim of reducing the stray dog population, we work with a number of different people:
Veterinary pracetices that participate in our subsidised neutering scheme really are the lifeblood of the campaign. By agreeing to lower prices for neutering in order to carry out these operations, all the vets that take part provide us with the vital support we need to run this scheme.
Local authorities within our campaign regions help us further encourage responsible dog ownership in their communities through microchipping and neutering initiatives.
