Free neutering

This will usually involve a leaflet ‘doordrop’ campaign limited to one estate or a few streets that have a particular problem with dogs roaming and lots of unwanted litters of pups being born. Dog owners in these areas are often very low income families that need extra help and incentives in order to get their dogs neutered. 

As part of our work in the campaign regions to reduce stray dog figures, we work with those local authorities with the highest stray dog rates to provide free neutering for dogs that could be at risk of either ‘serial siring’ or bitches that have had numerous litters of puppies already.
