Dog Of The Week: Simon
Simon is a happy and loving boy who enjoys being around people. He loves his food and will do anything for a tasty treat - he will happily show of his skills!. Simon looks forward to going out for his walks and having a splash in our stream. Although Simon came to us with his doggy friend Sadie, who he gets on well with, he can be unsure of dogs he doesn't know.
Simon came into us a stray dog from the pound, so we are limited on information. Simon is looking for a home with owners who are able to settle him into a new routine and who are able to manage him on walks as he can a bit strong on the lead at times. Simon would like a home where he could be the only pet and have all the attention on him and he can live with children of around 10 years old.
Simon is a handsome boy with a loving and gentle nature. He does like his home comforts and can often be found nestled into a pile of blankets, snoozing his afternoons away. Simon will make a lovely family pet.

Below are videos for four of our 'unusual suspects', six wonderful collies who are all a little bit different from the usual - for example, some are very relaxed about being home alone, and others could spend time in a cosy outdoor kennel. You can read about them all in more detail on our blog, or give us a ring to find out more: 01506 873 459.
3 year old Collie Cassie loves her walks; she is a very outdoorsy dog. She is happiest around water - she splashes in it, digs in it and fishes for stones She would be great fun for someone who loves long walks in the country side.
Cassie is worried by strangers and dogs but is very obedient and keen to learn new behaviours. She loves when we play with her but is also happy lazing around most of the day. She needs an adult only home and would prefer to be the only pet.
Distinguishing Feature: Cassie would be happy living outside in a cosy den and she's relaxed about being home alone.
Jovi is a clever lad who loves learning new tricks. He is very affectionate with people that he knows. We have found him to be a sensitive little soul who is looking for some guidance and his confidence being built up.
