Smurf's a gorgeous boy! Don't be put off by his deafness; there's definitely more to him than that!
Likes and dislikes: Smurf really likes people and is very affectionate. He is a very clever boy who has learnt hand signals as he can only hear high pitched sounds.
Type of home needed: Smurf gets on with other dogs and would like to live with another dog. He could be left for short periods. He is housetrained and could live with children over 10 years.

Foxy Lady would love a home of her own:
Likes and dislikes: Foxy Lady is a gentle girl who gets worried by new things. She gains confidence when other dogs are around to show her that the world is not as scary as she thinks.
Type of home needed: Foxy Lady would like an all adult household ideally with a confident doggie friend. Her new owner would need to spend some time gaining her confidence and they will be rewarded with a loving and gentle companion.

Jessie's a sweet girl waiting to meet the right owner:
Likes and dislikes: Jessie is a shy girl when meeting new people, however if you are calm around her she will soon make friends. Jessie loves being outside & would enjoy walks in the country. but we don't know how she is with cats.Jessie also loves her food alot!
Type of home needed: Jessie is a very sweet dog who will be lots of fun for her new family. She can live with children over 14 years & is particularly fond of lurchers and greyhounds!

Tippy was found with 30 other dogs. He is getting used to his new life:
Likes and dislikes: Tippy loves being around other dogs as he came from a home where he lived outside with 40 other dalmatians. He is therefore looking for an owner who will help him to adjust to a new environment.
Type of home needed: He must have a secure garden to play in. New owners will need to visit Tippy at the centre several times in order to build a relationship with him before adoption.

Here's Blossom, a sweet Lurcher girl who needs very special new owners (whom, as you can see, she will definitely lick on the nose!):
Likes and dislikes: She is a fun and energetic girl with lots to offer; she gets on with most dogs and she loves her long walks and would be best suited to someone around most of the time.
Type of home needed: Blossom needs owners who would be prepared to visit the centre for a while so that they can take over on her training prior to her going home and to build up a relationship. She needs an adult only home with no visiting children.

James is a nervous but oh-so-loving soul once he gets to know you. Here he is in action:
Likes and dislikes: James can be a little shy but soon comes out of his shell, especially if you give him treats! He gets on with some dogs & is gentle on the lead.
Type of home needed: James would like a home where he wouldn't have to spend much time on his own until he was settled. He would enjoy living with a family who have children over 12 years that would include him in family life as much as possible.

Likes and dislikes: Kala is a nervous girl who will need time to get to know her new owner. She loves her treats and enjoys playing chase. Once she has made friends with you she is very loving.
Type of home needed: Kala would like a patient owner who would be happy to make several visits to the centre to gain her trust. She could live with another dog and be left for short periods. She needs to live in an all adult home.

Tallulah isn't a big fan of kennels, but as you can see from the video below she loves a walk and cuddle:
Likes and dislikes: Tallulah finds living in a kennel quite stressful and would like a gentle, patient owner who can help her to adjust to new situations.
Type of home needed: Tallulah would like an owner who is around for most of the time and who she can cuddle up to for reassurance. She would like a quiet home and could live with children over 16 years.
