Shoreham Centre

We're the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you. Every dog deserves a loving home, and we've got quite a few looking! Drop in to find your perfect match. :)

If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01273 452576.

Meet Our Dogs

Here's where we put some photos and videos of a few residents trying to get your attention. If you are interested, please give us a call on 01273 452576 or drop in during opening hours!

Dog of the Week: Scout

Scout is a very handsome 7 year old male German Shepherd Cross

He is a gentle natured boy who will make a very loyal companion as he loves to spend his time relaxing by your side.

He loves nothing more in this world than food!
He can settle down with a tasty bone long enough for you to do the housework plus prepare his next meal!

Scout is looking for a quiet, adult only household where he can be the only pet as he likes his own space.
In his previous home he was housetrained and could be left for a few hours.
He enjoys travelling in the car but needs help to get in!

This beautiful boy is guaranteed to put a forever smile on your face with his endearing bear face and floppy ears.

His best friends Amy and Mandy will be very happy to discuss him in more detail and introduce him to you.

If you are interested in finding out more about Scout or you would like to meet him please do visit the centre (we are open from 12:00 - 16:00, only closing on a Tuesday), or call us on 01273 452 576.

Sticky Dogs

Here at Shoreham, like all Dogs Trust Rehoming Centres - we do have some dogs who are more challenging to find a home for.

Some are just over looked, and some need a more specific home environment. You can find out about some of these special canines here

Sponsor Dogs

We have a lovely Sponsor Dog here at the centre called Maddie, if you're not quite ready for a dog of your own but want to help you can certainly sponsor her! We're delighted for former sponsor dog Phil, who now has a forever home!

Do you ever wonder who would care for your dog should something happen to you?

Our Supporter Relations Officer's, Naomi Tucker and Lisa Herbert, can let you know about our free Canine Care Card Scheme, to make sure your four-legged friend’s future is safe.

They can also help with information about leaving a gift in your will or donating in memory of a loved one.

Naomi and Lisa are here to spread the word about the work we do at Dogs Trust. They are very happy to come out and talk to groups or can arrange a tour of the newly refurbished rehoming centre.

They also run some local fundraising events for Dogs Trust Shoreham.

Contact Naomi on 01273 466971 or email or contact Lisa on 07436 162296 or email
