Shoreham Centre

We're the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you. Every dog deserves a loving home, and we've got quite a few looking! Drop in to find your perfect match. :)

If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01273 452576.

Can you help?

We are need of some lovely volunteers to help out at the centre with jobs such as washing up and laundry, so if you have a couple of hours free each week and you live near the centre please do get in touch!

Meet Our Dogs

Here's where we put some photos and videos of a few residents trying to get your attention. If you are interested, please give us a call on 01273 452576 or drop in during opening hours!

Brooklyn and Harlem

Brooklyn & Harlem are gorgeous 4 month old male Lurcher puppies.

They came to us from Dublin, when they arrived they were very thin, but with some TLC you can see how well they are doing.

They are fun bundles of energy and as with any puppy, new owners will need to be prepared to offer them basic training and have lots of time for them.

They do not need to be homed together (unless you can offer a home for two!) 

They are very friendly with people and can live with children aged 10 years plus.  This is because they are so bouncy and older children would be more suitable.

These two love other dogs and enjoy nothing more than running around playing.  If there is another dog in the home then that dog would need to be comfortable with how full on a young pup can be.

Of course they love their toys, treats and food and walk nicely on the lead.

We do not know what they are like with small furries, but that could be tested if needed.

If you are interested in finding out more about Brooklyn and Harlem or you would like to meet her please do visit the centre (we are open from 12:00 - 16:00, only closing on a Tuesday), or call us on 01273 452 576.

Sticky Dogs

Here at Shoreham, like all Dogs Trust Rehoming Centres - we do have some dogs who are more challenging to find a home for.

Some are just over looked, and some need a more specific home environment. You can find out about some of these special canines here

Sponsor Dogs

We have two lovely Sponsor Dogs, Maddie and Sidney, if you're not quite ready for a dog of your own but want to help. We're delighted for former sponsor dog Phil, who now has a forever home!

Do you ever wonder who would care for your dog should something happen to you?

Our Supporter Relations Officer, Naomi Tucker, can let you know about our free Canine Care Card Scheme, to make sure your four-legged friend’s future is safe.

She can also help with information about leaving a gift in your will or donating in memory of a loved one.

Naomi is here to spread the word about the work we do at Dogs Trust.  She is very happy to come out and talk to groups or can arrange a tour and talk at the newly refurbished rehoming centre.

She also runs some local fundraising events for Dogs Trust Shoreham.

Contact Naomi on 01273 466971 or email
