We're the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you. Every dog deserves a loving home, and we've got quite a few looking! Drop in to find your perfect match. :)
If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01273 452576.
Meet Our Dogs
Here's where we put some photos and videos of a few residents trying to get your attention. If you are interested, please give us a call on 01273 452576 or drop in during opening hours!
Flight and Florence
These two doggies are adorable and have stolen the hearts of the staff at Shoreham. They did not come into the centre together, but we mixed them so they could share a kennel and they have fallen in love with each other! Flight is a 4 year old male Whippet and Florence is a 3 year old female crossbreed (possibly Shih Tzu).
They have been assessed together and we would like to try and home them together, but this is not essential. If they are rehomed separately then Flight will need another dog to live with, but Florence would be happy being an only dog as she loves people. Neither of them are 100% happy being left alone, so new owners will need to be prepared to work on this and build it up slowly.
They both like other dogs and are playful, but we don’t know what they will be like with small furries. They can live with children aged 8 years plus, if the children are sensible and calm around them. They love being near you and chilling out and will make wonderful companions. They also walk nicely on the lead and love to have a good chewing session on a tasty bone. Do you want some cuties in your life?
If you are interested in finding out more about Flight and Florence or you would like to meet them please do visit the centre (we are open from 12:00 - 16:00, only closing on a Tuesday), or call us on 01273 452 576.
Here at Shoreham, like all Dogs Trust Rehoming Centres - we do have some dogs who are more challenging to find a home for.
Some are just over looked, and some need a more specific home environment. You can find out about some of these special canines here!
We have two lovely Sponsor Dogs, Maddie and Sidney, if you're not quite ready for a dog of your own but want to help. We're delighted for former sponsor dog Phil, who now has a forever home!
Do you ever wonder who would care for your dog should something happen to you?
Our Supporter Relations Officer, Naomi Tucker, can let you know about our free Canine Care Card Scheme, to make sure your four-legged friend’s future is safe.
She can also help with information about leaving a gift in your will or donating in memory of a loved one.
Naomi is here to spread the word about the work we do at Dogs Trust. She is very happy to come out and talk to groups or can arrange a tour and talk at the newly refurbished rehoming centre.
She also runs some local fundraising events for Dogs Trust Shoreham.
Contact Naomi on 01273 466971 or email Naomi.Tucker@dogstrust.org.uk
