Shoreham Centre

We're the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you. Every dog deserves a loving home, and we've got quite a few looking! Drop in to find your perfect match. :)

If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01273 452576.

Meet Our Dogs

Here's where we put some photos and videos of a few residents trying to get your attention. If you are interested, please give us a call on 01273 452576 or drop in during opening hours!

Dog of the Week: Nessa

Nessa is a 14 year old female SBT.

She is a funny older lady and she knows what she wants from her retirement!

Nessa really loves the people she knows and is friendly towards strangers.  She likes nothing more than to sit with you, or even on your lap sometimes and have lovely cuddles.

She can live with children aged 12 years plus and would like to be the only pet in the home.

Nessa will need a garden to potter in as sometimes she’ll go for a walk, but more often than not, she won’t.  She likes her home comforts too much to leave them! 
So a garden will allow her to get some fresh air and do what a lady needs to do.

She is on the Dogs Trust Shared Adoption Scheme as she has Cushing Disease and arthritic front legs.  She is on lifelong medication for this which Dogs Trust will pay for, excluding routine treatments and the first £7.50 for each visit.

Nessa is a happy lady and she is quite comfortable with the medication she is on and her conditions.  She would love a quiet home to retire too where she can spend the rest of her days being loved and snoozing.

If you are interested in finding out more about Brownie or you would like to meet him please do visit the centre (we are open from 12:00 - 16:00, only closing on a Tuesday), or call us on 01273 452 576.

Sticky Dogs

Here at Shoreham, like all Dogs Trust Rehoming Centres - we do have some dogs who are more challenging to find a home for.

Some are just over looked, and some need a more specific home environment. You can find out about some of these special canines here

Sponsor Dogs

We have two lovely Sponsor Dogs, Maddie and Sidney, if you're not quite ready for a dog of your own but want to help. We're delighted for former sponsor dog Phil, who now has a forever home!

Do you ever wonder who would care for your dog should something happen to you?

Our Supporter Relations Officer, Naomi Tucker, can let you know about our free Canine Care Card Scheme, to make sure your four-legged friend’s future is safe.

She can also help with information about leaving a gift in your will or donating in memory of a loved one.

Naomi is here to spread the word about the work we do at Dogs Trust.  She is very happy to come out and talk to groups or can arrangethe newly refurbished rehoming centre.

She also runs some local fundraising events for Dogs Trust Shoreham.

Contact Naomi on 01273 466971 or email Naomi.Tucker@dogstrust.org.uk
