Newbury Centre

Fabulous facts about Dogs Trust Newbury

We have 39 kennels, which means there are lots of dogs waiting for someone like YOU to take them home! If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01488 658391.

We're open every day except Wednesdays, including weekends, so there's always a chance to come and see us.

Our Sponsor Dogs are Roxy Rocket and Brady. Sponsoring Roxy or Brady means you'll get three updates a year on their progress and other goodies too - find out more.

Open Day

A huge thank you to all the supporters, stall holders, staff and volunteers. We raised an amazing £6000 and it was a really great turn out of lovely, well behaved dogs for the fun dog show - best in show going to Moomoo the lovely female blue greyhound owned by Mrs Nichols.

Dog of the week - Coco

Coco is an adorable one-year-old French Bulldog who is hoping a new owner will say ‘oui’ to giving her the loving home she deserves.

Jenny Hopkins, Assistant Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, comments:

“Coco is a lively girl who loves to stay busy so a home with a secure garden is essential. She adores human company so would need her new owner to be around for most of the day to keep her company and show her plenty of affection.”

“Whilst she may be small, Coco has a big personality so she is best suited to a home with a family who have previously owned dogs and could help continue her training. Coco can take her time getting to know new people, so prospective owners will need to visit her a few times to make sure she finds her perfect fit. She loves to be the centre of attention so will need to be the only pet in the home, but could live with teenage children.”

If you think you could give Coco a happy home, please get in touch with Dogs Trust Newbury on 01488 658 391 or pop into the rehoming centre at Plumb’s Farm, Hamstead Marshall, Newbury, Berks RG20 0HR.
