Dogs Trust Harefield Volunteering Information
“Hi, my name’s Bernice and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at Dogs Trust West London. I grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe which is where my love for animals began. I have been a Dogs Trust Canine Carer for three years, and I now really enjoy working with the volunteers. It is amazing that people are generous enough to give up their time and care to help our dogs in need, even in the snow and rain! If you are interested in volunteering, please call me on 01895 453 936”
Volunteering Opportunities
There are lots of ways that you can help us at Dogs Trust West London:
• Dog Walking
• Cleaning Kennels
• Fundraising
• Helping at Events
We are so lucky that we have so many dedicated volunteers who give up their time on a regular basis, so this means we are not taking anymore applications to volunteer at this time.
You can read all about one volunteer's experiences in this letter from Yumiko, who talks about the differences in her experiences here and in her home country, Japan.
Event Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer at this year’s Summer Open Day and Fun Dog Show on 2nd June 2013, then please email Sian Fairlie. Roles include: manning stalls, selling Raffle tickets, car park attendants, and even making tea! We would be very grateful for your help.
