Hello and welcome to Dogs Trust West London! Our Rehoming Centre based in Harefield is set within 16 acres of farmland and home to seventy five purpose built kennels. We currently have over 150 dogs in our care including our sponsor dogs who live with us permanently; Lollipop, Skye, Shane and Ty…and you can sponsor them all!
Our fantastic facilities including under floor heating, glass fronted kennels, six exercise paddocks, a four acre field, a Puppy Suite and our amazing new Sensory Garden. All help to ensure our residents really enjoy their time here; they even get room service!
Every year we find loving new homes for hundreds of stray and abandoned dogs, and our friendly staff are here to help you find the right four- legged friend, so please do drop in and visit; you don't need an appointment during opening hours. Here are some of our dogs enjoying their stay with us (though they'd like a forever home, if you're offering!):
In The Spotlight:
Mr Mus is a sweet boy looking for a calm, quiet home. Being a beagle he's used to using his nose and following scents. He's a sensitive boy and will need patient owners who will help him build up his confidence. Mr Mus does like affection but can be easily worried so let him come to you in his own time. He will need basic obedience training, beagles are quite difficult to teach recall to but it would be nice for him to be free to run, use tasty treats, beagles love their food.
Mr Mus needs a home with owners experienced with dogs and should read up on the breed if not familiar.
Betsy is a 4 year old Crossbreed looking for her loving forever home.
She came to the centre in a bit of a state, she was kept tied up in a shed, and was covered in sores. Due to this Betsy finds home life very exciting, so new owners must give her time to settle in and get used to home life.
Betsy loves to play football so would love to go home with an active family. Betsy is quite stressed in kennels and needs a loving home soon – she really deserves one! She wasn’t really socialised with other dogs and as a result she prefers to be on her own. Betsy is looking for owners who have had dogs before, and have plenty of time to settle her in. In the right home, prepared to give her time and lots of love she will make a great addition and can live with children over 14 years.
Millie is a sensitive girl that is looking for a calmer household of 1 or 2 people.
She can be worried by new situations and can take a while to come around. But once she does her boxer part of her comes out and she is very lively and full of fun!!
She is looking for an active family that love to be out and about. Millie needs people that are prepared to socialise her with other dogs as she can be a little worried, so new owners must have the time to do this.
Millie will make a rewarding member of the family.

Success Stories: Where Are We Now?
We love hearing update from some of our former residents who are now having fun their forever homes, so we thought we'd share some with you.
Our new story for this month is...Rowland!
Do you ever wonder who would care for your dog should something happen to you?
Our Supporter Relations Officer, Sian Fairlie, can let you know about our free Canine Care Card Scheme, to make sure your four-legged friend’s future is safe.
She can also help with information about leaving a gift in your will or donating in memory of a loved one.
Sian is here to spread the word about the work we do at Dogs Trust. She is very happy to come out and talk to groups or can arrange a tour and talk at the newly refurbished rehoming centre.
She also runs some local fundraising events for Dogs Trust Harefield.
