West London - Harefield

Hello and welcome to Dogs Trust West London! Our Rehoming Centre based in Harefield is set within 16 acres of farmland and home to seventy five purpose built kennels. We currently have over 150 dogs in our care including our sponsor dogs who live with us permanently; Lollipop, Skye, Shane and Ty…and you can sponsor them all!

Our fantastic facilities including under floor heating, glass fronted kennels, six exercise paddocks, a four acre field, a Puppy Suite and our amazing new Sensory Garden. All help to ensure our residents really enjoy their time here; they even get room service!

Every year we find loving new homes for hundreds of stray and abandoned dogs, and our friendly staff are here to help you find the right four- legged friend, so please do drop in and visit; you don't need an appointment during opening hours. Here are some of our dogs enjoying their stay with us (though they'd like a forever home, if you're offering!):

* Building work at Dogs Trust Harefield *

Please note, at present we only have one / two wings in our rehoming area available for viewing due to refurbishment works. The work will be on going until approximately the end of July. During this time, we may have dogs behind scenes for this period - which could be suitable and we will be able to advise customers at the reception desk. Many thanks in advance for your understanding.

In The Spotlight:

Lola

Lola is a 2 yr old SBT X, she is full of energy and is looking for a fun family to join.

Lola is finding kennel life a little tough at the moment so is spending time with staff in the offices, which she loves! She is housetrained and so well behaved, she’s so much fun and is always smiling! Lola will jump up for a cuddle and then nod off as you stroke her! She loves her food and will do anything for a treat, she is very bright and willing to learn lots more. Lola is brilliant with other dogs and has a big group of friends here, she would love lots of doggy friends once home.

Lola would prefer to be the only dog at home as she doesn’t like sharing her toys or her bed  Lola can live with children over 12 and is so affectionate, she really will make a wonderful addition to the family!

Betsey

Betsy is a 4 year old Crossbreed looking for her loving forever home.

She came to the centre in a bit of a state, she was kept tied up in a shed, and was covered in sores. Due to this Betsy finds home life very exciting, so new owners must give her time to settle in and get used to home life.

Betsy loves to play football so would love to go home with an active family. Betsy is quite stressed in kennels and needs a loving home soon – she really deserves one! She wasn’t really socialised with other dogs and as a result she prefers to be on her own. Betsy is looking for owners who have had dogs before, and have plenty of time to settle her in. In the right home, prepared to give her time and lots of love she will make a great addition and can live with children over 14 years.

Millie

Millie is a sensitive girl that is looking for a calmer household of 1 or 2 people.

She can be worried by new situations and can take a while to come around. But once she does her boxer part of her comes out and she is very lively and full of fun!!

She is looking for an active family that love to be out and about. Millie needs people that are prepared to socialise her with other dogs as she can be a little worried, so new owners must have the time to do this.

Millie will make a rewarding member of the family.
