Representing the South West in lovely Devon, Dogs Trust Ilfracombe is a 45-kennel centre with a lot of lovely dogs seeking loving homes! If you have any queries about rehoming, or a particular dog, call 01271 812 709 or email the centre.
Four members of staff from our centre will be sleeping in our kennels on Sunday 10th August to raise pounds for our hounds!
Jordan, Rogan, Ruth, and Gemma are all Canine Carers - working closely with the dogs every day and will be sleeping in the kennels for 12 hours overnight!!
Canine Carer, Jordan Cooper says: "I have worked for Dogs Trust for years and really wanted to do something fun that would help us raise money for the charity. We make life as comfortable as possible for the rescue dogs in our care whilst they wait for their new homes, but I thought it would be interesting to see what life is like being in kennels.”
If you would like to donate to help the rescue dogs in the care of Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, please sponsor the staff for their endeavour by visiting www.justgiving.com/HushkyPups/

Dog of the Week: Ziva
Ziva is a stunning 8 month old husky X German Shepherd who came into Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre Ilfracombe through no fault of her own, her owners had a change of personal circumstances.
Ziva is a little nervous to begin with but is very sweet once she knows you. Being only 8 months old she is very lively and loves to play with anything, even a leaf is fun to her!
Our fabulous diva Ziva, adores her canine companions and would love a playmate in her new home. A confident dog would help Ziva overcome her shyness and let her really enjoy life and they will need to have lots of energy to keep up with her! We feel Ziva would be better suited to quiet home with older children due to her initial nervousness and youthful exuberance.
If you think you can give Ziva the loving, forever home she deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709, we are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
