Information on Glasgow Centre

Rehoming

Our lovely centre has 66 glass fronted kennels that house hundreds of dogs every year on their journey to a new home. Like every Dogs Trust centre, we never put a healthy dog down, so we'll never stop trying to find a home for every dog, even the 'special dogs' who have been with us for six months or more. Of course we also have three lovely sponsor dogs, Arnie, Jock and Smudge, who always love to hear from new sponsors!

If you are on the lookout for a new pooch please come in and visit. For more information about rehoming a dog, donations, visiting the centre and volunteering, please contact our Rehoming Centre Team on 0141 773 5130 or email the Centre.

Ozoe

Ozoe is a one year old, tricoloured, male Lurcher who likes his walks. He’s also a fan of cuddles and lots of attention!

Ozoe needs a secure garden with an active family who is willing to give him the exercise he needs. He would benefit from some more basic training.

He can live with children who are 8 years old or over.

For more information about Ozoe please contact our Rehoming Centre Team on 0141 773 5130 or drop in during opening hours.

Dutchess

Dutchess is a five year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She is a happy girl who adores walks, training, playing with her carers and is also very bright. She missed out on socialisation and training before she came to Dogs Trust so can be very excitable.

This wonderful girl is looking for a calm, adult home and previous experience in training.

For more information about Dutchess please contact our Rehoming Centre Team on 0141 773 5130 or drop in during opening hours.

Education

As well as finding forever homes for our dogs, we also have an Education Officer, Alison Russell, who visits schools with her Collie Cross Alfie to deliver free class workshops for the dog owners of tomorrow. We believe that by encouraging children to think about responsible dog ownership we can begin to reduce the number of stray dogs and help dogs stay in loving homes for life. You can give Alison a ring on 0141 773 5142 or email her to talk about booking a workshop. Check out our exciting education website www.learnwithdogs.co.uk for fun online games, free resources for teachers and much more!

Fundraising

Vicky Kelly and Tim Mullens are our Supporter Relations Officers.  They're the people who help local fundraisers in their kind support of us, deal with media enquiries and try to spread the word about Dogs Trust far and wide! Vicky and Tim also run the Dogs Trust Glasgow Twitter feed, where you can keep up to date with the comings and goings of the dogs at our centre. You can email Vicky or Tim or give them a ring on 0141 773 5141.

Charity Shop

You can also visit our brand new charity shop in Tolcross Road! More details can be found on the charity shop page.
