Volunteering at Dogs Trust Evesham
Dogs Trust Evesham is proud to boast that if all the volunteers came to visit at the same time on the same day, we would not have enough dogs to go around!
Our large team of dedicated dog walkers come along rain or shine (or snow) to help us care for the dogs we have in our centre. They don’t just help us walk the dogs, but frequently help us out with fundraising events that we hold throughout the year. They are keen to spend time training dogs and also allowing extra cuddles for those dogs who need additional support in a kennel environment. They provide exercise, environmental enrichment and help to prepare them for their new lives.
Although we are limited on dog walker spaces at the moment we are desperately looking for people to help us with kennel cleaning. This would involve you being at the centre at 8.15am to help us, in wellies and waterproofs - and it's is a great way to burn calories!
We are also looking for volunteers to help us cover our top reception area in the future. This will involve meeting and greeting the public on arrival and answering telephone enquiries
If you are interested why not drop an email to Emma Braggington or print off an application form and return to us at 89 Pitcher’s Hill , Wickhamford, Eveham, WR11 7RT
Please feel free to have a look at the recent Volunteer Newsletter that Emma our Volunteer Co-ordinator issues every quarter to our volunteers to help keep them up to date with the goings on at the Evesham Centre.
