Travel along the section of the A4 between Newbury and Hungerford and take the road signposted to Hamstead Marshall village and the Red House.
This is a straight road (called Milkhouse Road), the road then passes over a railway crossing and then a canal, where it changes name to Park Lane.
You’ll notice the lane follows the boundary of an estate on the left, when you reach the fork in the lane, take the left road to the end of the lane (still called Park Lane). At the end of the lane turn right to Hamstead Marshall village.
Half a mile along this road the White Hart Inn appears on the right, the entrance to Dogs Trust Newbury is opposite the inn on the left.
