Keenan is a lovely lad who can be a little nervous around new people. Once he has built up a bond with someone, he will be their friend for life! Keenan has lived in a house before, is housetrained and is happy to be left alone for a couple of hours at a time. He is a very bright dog and likes to have plenty to do - he loves a Kong stuffed with peanut butter!
Type of home needed:
Keenan would like an adult only home with a relatively experienced family. He can be quite boisterous with other dogs and would prefer to be an only dog in his new home, although his behaviour has improved a lot recently. Keenan is still only a very young dog, so his new owners must be very committed to continuing his training and socialisation. He is a super chap and the Dog Training Team here at the centre are more than happy to give any help and advice needed in order to settle Keenan into his new life.
