We pride ourselves on our non—destruction policy and to this end we have put several innovative schemes in place, to make sure our dogs get the best care and attention they need.
Whilst most of our dogs are rehomed very easily we do encounter dogs that do have problems; this may be because of their past or an event that has scared them.
Some dogs are scared of people, some dogs are scared of other dogs, and some dogs are just scared of being in kennels. We endeavour to help all these dogs overcome their fears and be placed in loving new homes, or they will be kept in Dogs Trust care for as long as is necessary.
We will never destroy a healthy dog and below are some of the ways we help our dogs have the best quality of life possible:
