Likes and dislikes:
Charlie is a middle aged boy who can be quite sensitive. He needs a quiet home where few demands will be placed on him. He is very loyal to his owners but takes time to trust new people. Charlie loves other dogs and has lived with a cat. He really enjoys playing with toys, going for long walks, swimming and fetching sticks!
Type of home needed:
Charlie needs an experienced, adult only home where he can have time and space to settle in at his own pace. He is a very sweet boy who does enjoy a treat or two! He is housetrained and can be left home alone for short periods.
More about me:
Charlie will be a very rewarding dog in the right home, as he does adore his owner and loves to explore the great outdoors with his trusted human friends. Please note Charlie is currently on our Home From Home scheme, where dogs who are unhappy in kennels live with a volunteer until a permanent home can be found. This means if you are interested in Charlie we would ask that you call the centre, rather than visit, in the first instance.
