DOGS TRUST SUPPORTS OLYMPIC WONDER DOG FOR CHARITY FUNDRAISER
- Terrier enters Sponsored Swimathon in aid of Hillingdon Hospital -
Meet Louise the terrier (pictured) a sports fanatic who just loves to play and more importantly loves to swim. At first glance, Louise may look like a normal dog, but in fact she’s a multi-talented, sports enthusiast who has decided to take part in a sponsored swim for charity.
Louise loves playing and interacting with children. So much so, Louise has decided to put her best paw forward, squeeze into her very own polka dot bikini, and raise money for the Peter Pan Children’s Ward at local Hillingdon Hospital.
The Sponsored Swimathon will be taking place at Dipping Dogs in Cowley on 26th June. All funds raised from the event will go to the Hillingdon Hospital. After her charity swim, Louise is scheduled to go and visit the children at the Peter Pan Children’s Ward so they can play with her and give her lots of rewarding cuddles for her hard earned efforts.
Despite her Olympic endeavours Louise is only 18-months old. An affectionate terrier, she is currently residing at Dogs Trust Harefield and looking for a new home. Louise is a fun loving, free spirited girl who is always on the go. As well as being an excellent swimmer she also enjoys a good game of football and is a brilliant long distance runner.
Louise has been with Dogs Trust Harefield for almost a year now and is therefore desperate to find a new loving and action-packed family. Experienced dog owners who lead an active and outdoor life would be just the ticket for Louise. She is naturally great with children and fine with other dogs and cats. A family who could introduce her to all sorts of doggy pursuits such as Flyball would be ideal.
Being a terrier, Louise is a very clever girl, she needs to be kept busy and stimulated at all times. So if you’re looking for more fun in your life, or maybe looking to keep fit, then Louise is your perfect sports partner and personal coach!
