This week the UK’s largest dog welfare charity, Dogs Trust is looking for support to find new homes for their long-term residents at Dogs Trust Snetterton Rehoming Centre located just outside of Norwich.
Meet Owen (pictured) a friendly and highly intelligent Staffordshire Bull Terrier. To top it off, Owen it seems is also computer literate and the ideal office dog.
Owen has been with Dogs Trust Snetterton since December 2007 and is looking for a new family home where he can check emails, watch the comings and goings of visitors and play with his toys.
Owen came into Dogs Trust Snetterton in December 2007. He is highly affectionate and friendly who adores the company of humans. Staff at Dogs Trust Snetterton have bonded with Owen largely to the fact that he prefers to spend his days ‘supervising’ the Rehoming Centre reception area.
Supporter Relations Officer Barbara Emons comments: “People who come through our doors are often amazed when they receive their very own four-legged meet and greet service. Owen has his very own editor’s chair and is often found checking emails and Doggy Snaps ‘dating’ website on the office computer. He is certainly one of a kind and would make a great family pet or office manager!”
Owen loves his toys and going for long walks. He ideally needs a loving home where his new owners have had some previous experience with dogs. Owen could be rehomed with calm dogs, possibly cats (as long as they stay away from his computer screen!) and children above the age of ten.
