Almost 15% of the four-legged-friends at Centre are young pups looking for love
The staff at Dogs Trust Evesham are keen to find new homes for 22 puppies currently being cared for by the staff at the Wickhamford-based Rehoming Centre.
As the Centre cares for around 150 dogs at any one time this means that around 15% of their intake right now are young puppies, including this litter of seven puppies named by the staff after The Seven Dwarves: Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy.
These puppies are eight week old crossbreeds and are a mixed litter of light brown and black pups. They will grow into fairly large dogs and Dogs Trust staff are and are looking for family homes where their new owners will have the time to socialise and take the puppies to training classes.
Dogs Trust Evesham Rehoming Centre Manager, Chris Slight, comments;
“Its often fairly easy to find a new home for a puppy. However, we urge anyone considering getting a dog to really think it through first; a puppy is adorable but may take some time to settle in and will obviously benefit from some training. Older dogs have already developed their own character and personality and can bring an equal amount of joy.
If you are interested in finding out more about the puppies, or indeed any of the other 150 dogs at Dogs Trust Evesham, please call us on 01386 830613.”
Dogs Trust is the UK’s largest dog welfare charity and cares for over 15,000 stray and abandoned dogs each year through its network of 17 Rehoming Centres across the UK.
