Rehoming Centres    

 

Training and Behaviour Advisor - Dogs Trust Glasgow

  • 40 hours per week, Permanent
  • Responsible to the Rehoming Centre Manager or, in his or her absence, to the duty RC Assistant Managers, for assessing pre-intake and newly arrived dogs, designing and implementing dog training and behaviour modification programmes for these and other dogs in our care.  Also responsible for training Canine Carers to implement behavioural training programmes and for advising members of the public in the handling and training of dogs adopted from Dogs Trust.

London Head Office

Shared Adoption Scheme (SAS) Co-ordinator - London Head Office

  • 35 hours per week, Permanent
  • Dogs Trust is proud to have the Shared Adoption Scheme which allows us to find homes for dogs with ongoing medical conditions that may otherwise be more difficult to find. The Scheme is supported by charitable donations and you will be responsible for the Dogs Trust SAS administration.
    Joining the Veterinary Department in London, the role will involve liaising with adopters, vets and referral centres as well as daily interaction with Dogs Trust Rehoming Centres and external agencies. You will have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills to interact with both internal and external colleagues with both communications and telephone skills being essential. Computer skills and experience of Word, Outlook and Excel will be important in maintaining records and managing cases.
