In your own home

• Your local council’s Environmental Health Department can take action against you if you allow your dog to become a noise nuisance. They could order you to get rid of your dog and/or fine you, if the noise levels do not decrease after they have given you written notice.
You must also clear up after your dog in your own garden, since dog waste can constitute a health hazard to you and your neighbours.
