Terriers

Terriers were bred to hunt vermin and so are very quick to react, are very rarely still, are brave, tough and hardworking. Terriers are always ‘up for it’ and tend to have a mind of their own. These dogs really do need an owner who is active and can keep them amused all day - left to their own devices, terriers can get up to all sorts of mischief. They need to be socialised very carefully from an early age; due to their nature they can become a bit snappy with strange animals or people – however they tend to be incredibly loyal and loving to their own families. Keep other small pets locked up out of reach and wave goodbye to your prize garden, but at least it’s never quiet with one of these around.
