Gundogs

Gundogs were not bred to hunt, but to retrieve the dead game once it had been shot by the hunter, to point at it or to ‘flush’ the birds or animals from where they were hiding, so that the hunter could shoot. As dogs bred for work, they do need a lot of exercise and things to do to keep them happy and in top condition, so be prepared to provide this. They are easily trainable, love exercise and attention and tend to make good loyal family pets.
