Westminster Dog of the Year
This prestigious dog show is open to all dog-owning MPs, Lords and political journalists, and for the first time this year even non dog-owning Parliamentarians take part by asking a local primary school to draw a dog for them to submit. Dogs are judged on their good deeds and behaviour rather than looks or pedigree, and doggy artworks must include one message about how to be a responsible dog owner.
