What directly benefits the dogs?
- Main building – the rehoming kennels, through the use of ground source heat pumps, will be maintained at an optimal temperature for comfort.
- Main building – the rehoming kennels, further use of the glass fronted kennels and glass partitioned (opaque) which helps with cleanliness and sound proofing
- Main building – vet suite, to attend to any problems on site and even more immediately
- Main building – training barn, to help with training and socialisation in a controlled environment
- Intake building – having listened to staff needs/recommendations that this be very separate from main building, again to have a calmer and quieter environment for new dogs coming in
- Underfloor heating in Main building, refurbed Parasol kennels, Intake building and TBA building
- TBA building – help special cases like Tucker, having listened to staff/TBA specialists it will be more remote from main centre and designed to help training and socialisation of dogs with special needs
- Refurbishment of the two Parasol kennels – will have underfloor heating installed, increased sleeping (fully indoor) space through the inclusion of a snug, which will also give a raised area in the run for the dogs to sit on
