We’re not just building a rehoming centre... we’re rebuilding lives.
2013 is an exciting year for Dogs Trust because we’re building a brand new rehoming centre in Basildon, Essex. The building will be much more than bricks and mortar. It will mean that we can save an extra 1,000 dogs every single year!
In 2012, we estimate that local authorities were forced to put down more than 8,000 abandoned dogs, simply because there were too many to cope with. We’re determined to stop this tragic waste of life. Dogs Trust Essex will make a huge impact by providing a place of safety and love for so many of these innocent dogs.
As a charity we rely on our loyal supporters to get projects like this off the ground and we really need your help with this vital work. Together we can bring this rehoming centre to life and make a real difference to abandoned dogs everywhere. We’d be so grateful if you would join us in moving one step closer to our ultimate goal of ensuring that no healthy dog is ever put down.
