If your dog has a litter of pups and you do not wish to keep them, DO NOT advertise ‘puppies free to good home’ or similar in shop windows or a local paper, as this is a sure-fire way to the pups ending up with irresponsible owners.
Contact your nearest Dogs Trust Rehoming Centre or other local rescue, or ask your vet for advice as to how to ensure they go to suitable homes.
