Testicular Cancer

Unneutered or ‘entire’ male dogs can be at risk of developing testicular cancer in later life. If the testicles have not fully descended (that is they are both in the scrotum) this risk is greatly increased. Ask your vet if you are worried about this and to find out more about having your dog neutered. Retention of testicles is a hereditary disease so it is very important not to breed from a dog with this problem.
