German Shepherd Dog

The German Shepherd Dog (GSD, also known as an Alsatian), is a large-sized dog originating from Germany. As part of the Pastoral Group, GSDs were originally used for herding sheep.

They are often used as police dogs around the world due to their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training. Due to their loyal and protective nature, they are also one of the most popular breeds. And being such an intelligent breed they require a great deal of mental stimulation.
