Freedom Project: What do we need from referral agencies?

Where possible, we ask that referral agencies inform us as soon as they are aware of a client that might need help with pet fostering so that we have time to find a suitable foster carer.

Families wanting to access our service will need to provide confirmation by fax, email or letter from their referral agency, e.g. Women’s Aid, Refuge, the police, social services, homeless persons units and other support groups. A photocopy of a relevant Court order is acceptable.

Please ensure we have a point of contact at the referral agency for the family, including a telephone number.
